The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a fast-paced grocery store environment and enjoy working behind the counter in an engaging atmosphere.
Candidates should have previous experience working either as a cook or in a customer service role and will be responsible for preparing food items, providing customers with product knowledge, giving out correct change and making sure the store is stocked at all times.
Responsibilities:
Be a team player.
Use discretion when making decisions.
Anticipate customer needs and respond appropriately.
Bring food out to customers in a timely manner.
Prepare food according to customers' preferences and needs.
Follow standard safety protocols when using equipment such as slicers and grinders.
Follow company guidelines for customer service.
Address complaints in an appropriate manner.
