Nurse Manager, Mother/Baby

A Magnet designated acute care hospital located in northern Maryland is now searching for an experienced Nurse Manager Mother Baby to join their award-winning healthcare team.
This acute care hospital is home to nearly 300-beds and provides a wide variety of services to more than 95,000 residents in the surrounding areas.
This location offers a number of awarded inpatient and outpatient services including behavioral health, cancer care, surgical services, rehabilitative care, imaging and laboratory services, women's health and pediatrics, critical care and emergency services, and much more.
Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Nurse Manager Mother Baby will oversee the daily operations of the 25-bed Mother Baby unit, the newborn nursery, the prenatal center, and lactation services.
There are currently 75
FTEs and this department proudly performs more than 2,500 deliveries per year.
The Nurse Manager promotes quality patient care, collaborates with department and hospital leadership teams, evaluates staff performance, monitors regulatory compliance, and serves as an expert clinical liaison for the department.
